Coming soon! This Blog "From Ranch to Romance" is a renovation project. As I progress in my efforts to change an 80's ranch style brick home to a French Country haven I will show before and after photos and document my work right here. I began daydreaming about a more pleasing home while touring France and Italy with my daughter Melissa. When it dawned on me that I could make my dreary little brick ranch house SO much more appealing to my sensitivities the financial difficulty of purchasing a new home disappeared. The changes you will see as I progress cost little. Except for a few professionals such as my plumber this is mainly a "Do It Yourself" project. As an "Empty Nester" I feel as if I am feathering my own little nest. It need only appeal to me but I hope you will enjoy the process as well. Sherry
